The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
